Dear Families,
Thank you for another great week. We have been enjoying the warm weather and time with each other.
Shared earlier this week: Our Terry Fox Run/Walk/Roll will be on Thursday Sept 24th(weather permitting) at 1:15. Volunteers, please arrive at 1:00pm.
Students in grades 1 -6 will be following a route around the school property. Kindergarten students will participate in their kindergarten yard. Our Goal this year is to surpass last years total of $2300.00 and raise $2600.00. Staff have again volunteered to get ‘pied’ in the face by a chosen student for fun and support of a great cause. Staff volunteers for this Pie event are Ms. Quinn, Ms. Ferraro, Mrs. Lepindea and Mrs. Nehme. Donations so far ar $290. Thank you so much for your contribution.

End of Day Dismissal
We work to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient dismissal process for all students, please take note of our end-of-day pick-up procedures.
• Regular Dismissal: Standard dismissal for Kindergarten through Grade 6 is at 3:45 PM.
• Kindergarten Pick-Up: Kindergarten parents may begin picking up their children at the school gate at 3:40 PM.
• Early Pick-Up Protocol: If you would like to pick up your child prior to regular dismissal, please notify the main office before 3:15 PM with your arrival time. This allows the office staff enough time to have your child ready and waiting. Following these steps helps us maintain a seamless dismissal routine for everyone.
Thank you so much for your understanding, kindness, and ongoing cooperation!
Allergies
Please be aware that there are students and staff members in our school with severe life-threatening food allergies. Please see our updated list: Please do not send any peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish. These individuals are diagnosed as anaphylactic. Anaphylaxis is a medical condition that causes a severe reaction to specific foods and can be fatal. Your child’s teacher will share specific information about possible allergies in their classroom. Convent Glen Catholic School strives to be a scent-free environment for the safety of staff and students. We thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep all of our students and staff safe.
