Our school respectfully acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral, traditional and unceded Indigenous territory of the Algonquin Peoples,
on whose territory we pray, learn, play and work.

OCSB Spiritual Theme 2019 - 2020
The Ottawa Catholic School Board spiritual theme for the 2019-2020 school year is “Seek Justice, Love Kindness & Mercy, Walk Humbly with God.”

In the Old Testament, Micah is a prophet calling the people of his day to honour their relationship with God. This quote from Micah contains the whole Christian calling; to seek justice, show mercy to others and walk humbly with God. Jesus models this for us.

In this second year of this new spiritual theme, the focus will be 'Love Kindness and Mercy". Kindness and mercy reflect God's love. It is very important and kind to affirm one another. Kindness is reflected by good and charitable behaviour, tenderness and concern for others. We see kindness and mercy in the desire to help someone in need without expecting anything in return.
